April already?

Wow I can not believe it is April already. We were away in Maui from the end of January until early March. Lucky me. Lots of reading and beaching. Some hiking, lots of walking. It is a good thing I keep a list of all the books I read because I can't always remember. I did finish the The Bronze Horseman trilogy. I think I liked the first book the best. I read some mysteries, chick lit. I always try to take several books that have been lingering on my shelves to read. I did read one book that really creeped me out that my niece loaned me. Behind Closed Doors- extremely creepy and scary. I made my husband read it and then I passed it on. Everyone agreed- definitely creepy. No other word for it. But good. My husband and I totally relax and enjoy time passing slowly. At night we usually latch onto a series to watch. This year we watched House of Cards. At first I wasn't sure I would even continue to watch it but after the third episode both of us were hooked. Evil, greedy, self serving politicians. Life imitating art or art imitating life? Not sure. Then we moved on to The Crown. And then Grace and Frankie (still have a couple of episodes in season two). I only missed one book club and will read that book (Just Mercy) as soon as it is available at the library. My book club met last week to discuss Ordinary Grace which everyone had read (and finished!) and overall seemed to like. My book, A House in The Sky, is the April selection. Very interesting. I hope I can make it a good discussion. A couple of pictures from Maui.
