Time to learn something new. And creating a blog is it. Reudi's Book Club is a reading group that I started, with about 7 friends a few years ago. More of our history later.

  1. Good for you, Ruth! I'm currently reading NOTHING, but I just ordered Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel.

  2. Our next meeting is in November to discuss Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali .
This book was recommended to me by a woman at church and had been read and discussed in the church reading group.

  3. Okay I won't talk about time!! A Big thanks to all the Reudi members who came out to support the fundraiser at Dunn's Pub. The Pink Ladies raised $1,600. I think this will be considered the first annual!!

    Miss You All!

  4. I hope to learn enough to post an interactive calendar and a list of books read and to be read by the group. Oh and it would be nice to have a banner type thing and post a quote .....

  7. Today, with help from a person on the help forum I added a list of the selected books for 2009. We typically don't select books for July and August although we have a suggestion summer reading list. And in December we have a Christmas party and gift swap (no book) and in June we have an end of the year potluck.

  9. Our November book selection is pictured above.
Last Wednesday I went, with 4 other RBC members, to hear Tracy Kidder ( Mountains Beyond Mountains) talk about his latest book. Very interesting evening.
